Twiggy, supermodel and iconic face of the 60s, was born Lesley Hornby. When she was 16 her hairdresser took of a photo of her newly cropped hair and hung it in the salon. Not long afterwards a fashion journalist saw the pictures and Twiggy was “discovered”. I’m not normally a fan of heavy makeup, but Twiggy’s look is so fun and youthful. Her 60s wardrobe is just to die for, and she knew how to dress her figure. High, round necklines are the way to go for the flat-chested and long necked girls, and daring hemlines show off her long legs.
