A few weeks ago I had the pleasure of being invite to see Cath Kidston’s new Autumn Winter collection. This is Cath Kidston’s second collection with their new art director, and the brand continues to grow strength to strength. Last season’s press show was called A Breath Of Fresh Air, and it really was. This season feels just as fresh, as classic Cath Kidston prints have been given a refresh with new colour ways and pops of neon.
Cath’s Kidston’s vision of autumn is so lovely; all walks in the woods and snugly blankets. To get us in mood at the press day, clothes were hung from tree branches, autumn leaves crunched under foot as wewere served mugs of tea and mini toffee apples.
I don’t even want to think about Christmas yet, but Cath Kidston’s Christmas grotto was rather lovely. Red and green aren’t really my thing, so it’s lovely to see such a colourful, retro tinged vision of Christmas. Who wouldn’t want to curl up in that chair with cup of cocoa? Plus the outside of the grotto was covered on hundreds of gingerbread men, which is one way to make your house smell amazing.
Thank you so much for having me Cath Kidston!
