Making your Small Business stand out

emma_block_studio_tourIn the run up to our creative small business seminar Stacie posted this great piece on how to make your small business stand out. There is often a perception that creative people aren’t business savvy, but I don’t think that’s true at all. Being a freelance creative means being an all-rounder, and dealing with branding, promotion and paperwork as well as creating beautiful things. In the talk there will be a big focus on branding and social media, which are two things that definitely have made a big difference to my business. Most of my clients get in touch with me after having seen my work on Pinterest, Instagram or my blog. I’m not sure I’d even have a career without social media. The talk is full of detailed information on how best to use these platforms to brand and promote your business.

There are still some tickets left for our talk on the 1st of March, which can be purchased on eventbite. It will be held in the beautiful The Shop At Forty and tea and cake will be provided. Stacie and I will be sharing loads of tips and insights into growing a small creative business.

You can get 10% off your ticket if you use the code Spring10!
