Notting Hill in the Spring

On Tuesday morning I was lucky enough to meet up with Jo from The Darling Tree in beautiful Notting Hill. notting hill springI think Notting Hill is really at it’s best in the spring; the cherry blossoms and magnolia looks so lovely against the pastel buildings. We started with tea and brioche at Pain Quotidien, then wandered all the way down Portobello Road to have little peak at the new Biscuit Boutique from the Biscuiteersnotting hill spring notting hill spring notting hill springThe significance of this little green shed in the middle of the road, is that it is used by cabbies when they fancy a cup of tea. I know this fact from watching Victoria Wood’s A Nice Cup of Tea, which I suggest you watch too while it’s available on iplayer. portobello roadbiscuiteers boutique biscuiteerscoffeebiscuiteers
