Review: Ideas Illustrated

When I went to get my portrait done by Damien Florébert Cuypers at the YCN I also received a copy of the new Ideas Illustrated.

Ideas Illustrated

Illustrated magazines can tend to be a little bit insular, appealing mostly just to other illustrators. Ideas Illustrated is a fully illustrated magazine that has a wide appeal to anyone in creative industries or business. It utilizes the power of illustrations to explain, inform and interest, whilst exploring a wide range of topical and intellectual subjects. Idea Illustrated is the kind of magazine you want to read before a dinner party, so that your brain will be full all sort of interesting information to impress your guests with.

The theme of this issue is Luck, and there are articles on mascots, the state of the British high street, the art of confidence and how to pack a mirror without it breaking.

Here are some of my favourite illustrated pages:If you have an independently produced magazine would like me to review, please contact me on emmablock @ hotmail.com
