homemade lemonade

My own still lemonade recipe:

First boil the kettle. Peel two washed lemons. You want the yellow peel but not the white pith. Add a sprig of mint and caster sugar (approx. one table spoon, but depends how sweet you like it). Add boiling water. This helps dissolve the sugar and release the oil from the lemon peel. Leave it to cool.

When it’s cool add the juice of two lemons. Sieve out the peels and leaves. Serve with ice and mint. Yum yum yum.
