I know it hasn’t been long since my last garden update, but we’ve had so many exciting new additions.
I bought this pepper plant from Angel Flowers in Islington the other day. I thoroughly recommend popping in if you’re in the area; it’s a beautiful cavern of plants and flowers and Marco the owner is very helpful. We found this ‘rustic’ table in a friend’s front garden, so now it is our potting table. I think the weathered wood looks lovely with the plant pots. This tree was left abandoned outside a shop that had closed down, so we brought it home. The neighbours all love it. This is now the view from our kitchen window. So leafy! We’ve also gone a bit mad for seedlings. After eating anything with seeds we say ‘can we plant this??’. We’ve got butternut squash and sweet peas doing very well at the moment, and grape, pomegranate, peach and plum seeds and pips ready to be planted. I have no idea how they will turn out, but it’s always worth a try. Here’s how the front of our little flat looks at the moment.
