coffee time

I was almost exclusively a tea drinker, and my lovely pink moka pot was mostly just for decoration. That is until I went to Paris and fell in love with coffee all over again. After sipping coffee at a little table outside a cafe every morning with my breakfast croissant, instant doesn’t really cut it anymore. The moka pot is in use daily now and covered in coffee, and my housemates and I are all highly caffeinated.

  1. I had a similar experience a few years ago in Edinburgh (not quite as romantic but…) where I discovered a little bohemian coffee roastery (Artisan Roast) and had my first memorable espresso and my very first flat white. I bought myself a moka pot (not a pink one unfortunately) thereafter and haven’t looked back.

I love your moka pot illustration!

    xx
