A small collection of pop-up monsters

Inspired by this amazing book I decided to have a go at making pop ups. I started simple with a custard monster, a little more daring with my troupe of teal monster, and finally the white woods. I really love the shadows they create, so I've photographed those too.

  1. [this is good] I watched the video, my mouth was open and smiling wide with such joy! Wow! That is the coolest alphabet book Ever! Thanks for sharing it! Your very own pop ups are wonderful! I love your fantasy world, I want to live in there, where monsters are scary but you could also have tea with them in the afternoon. 😉 The tree filled with fun party in it is my favorite. Very well done!

  2. i checked out the video and LOVED it, then went to Amazon for a copy of the book.  It will be out in October so I put it on my wishlist.  How very cool!

  3. [this is good] I can’t believe that no one has mentioned Maurice Sendak’s “Where the Wild Things Are” (one of my favourite children’s books).  I am totally reminded of that.
