Ink is more exciting than you might think

It was my birthday yesterday and one of my presents was a gift voucher for a posh art shop in . I treated myself to four new brushes, some ribbon, some paper and some ink. Now a small pot of back ink (costing the princely sum of £4.50) may not seem very exciting, but actually it is.

I've been playing around with it all morning and it's fantastic. It’s much better that my previous method of pen and ink drawings (a fountain pen and a wet brush) because the ink is water resistant, plus it doesn't have that bluish tinge.
